The Young Lawyers Section (YLS) of The Jacksonville Bar Association is known for helping new lawyers get into the swing of things in the local legal community. Such was the case Wednesday night at golfTEC on the South-side.

The YLS happy hour program continued to provide an event where members of the legal community could meet in a social setting and, in this case, knock a few strokes off of their handicap. The business located on Southside Boulevard provides swing analysis and instruction with the help of video and computer equipment that helps break down every move a golfer makes.

The next social event will be a judicial breakfast March 5 with County, Family and Juvenile Court judges. The YLS 4-on-4 basketball season is underway to be followed by co-ed flag football starting Feb. 23. For more information on these events contact Elizabeth Howard at [email protected].
