Dan King, Visit Jacksonville executive board chair and Hyatt general manager, thanks John Reyes, president and CEO of Visit Jacksonville, for his five years of service. The gesture was made during a farewell party for Reyes aboard the Jacksonville Princess II Wednesday as he prepares to leave for California to become president and CEO of the Monterey County Convention & Visitors Bureau. Reyes was surprised to see so many people turn out to wish him well. “I’ll use a little of Sandra Bullock’s speech from the Oscars, I don’t know if I earned this or I just wore you all down,” he said.
