City employees attended a lunchtime pep rally for “Team Teal,” the Jacksonville Jaguars’ season ticket drive, on Thursday at City Hall. Former Jaguar Tony Boselli (at the podium) was one of the speakers. City workers were made aware that they can purchase season tickets through a payroll deduction program. Before the rally, franchise owner Wayne Weaver said it was great the City joined other employers in providing the option to employees. He also reported that as of Thursday morning, more then 5,000 new season ticket holders had signed up, compared to about 700 at this time last year.
