Setting the stage for jazz

Workers started early Wednesday assembling along Main Street the “Swingin’ Stage” for the Jacksonville Jazz Festival. It’s one of four venues that will offer live entertainment beginning today at 5 p.m. and continuing through Sunday evening. There’s also an art festival and a wine and beer tasting. More than 150,000 people are expected to attend the festival this year, making it one of Downtown’s largest events. For the complete schedule and festival map, visit
