Gate Petroleum Co. President John Peyton announced Tuesday the company has consolidated management of its four resort and private club properties under The Gate Hospitality Group.
The Ponte Vedra Inn & Club, The Lodge & Club at Ponte Vedra, Epping Forest Yacht Club and The River Club are now part of the hospitality group, which employs about 900 people among the properties.
Human resources and training, information technology, finance, purchasing and marketing will be consolidated under the group.
Peyton also announced appointments for the group.
• Dale Haney is president. Haney has more than 35 years in the hospitality industry and has managed two sister properties, the 249-room Ponte Vedra Inn & Club and the Lodge & Club.
• Christian Peterson was appointed chief financial officer. Peterson has served as vice president and controller for the Ponte Vedra Beach resorts and will serve as chief asset manager, which includes involvement in financial strategic planning for the group.
• David Mariotti has been appointed group resort director. He has more than 20 years of operational experience with both properties and will oversee day-to-day operations of the Inn & Club and the Lodge & Club. The directors of The River Club and Epping Forest remain the same.
• William Ackland has been appointed controller. He will oversee day-to-day resort and club accounting operations for all four properties and Ponte Vedra Club Realty Inc.
