Pets: None, but I aspire to make an Old English Bulldog a member of the family.

How did you become involved?
I first began to attend the Zumba small group offered by the church. A group of women gather weekly. We are first led in a Bible-based devotional focusing on spiritual and physical health. We then turn it up and have an amazing workout.
How can someone else become involved?
Please visit celebration.org. There are groups focusing in faith, family, finances, freedom and fitness. There is a small group that can meet anyone’s needs. There are also other “Serve Your City” initiatives to help make a lasting impact on Jacksonville.
What have you learned/achieved through the experience?
Everyone has a purpose in life. Be who you are created to be; greet, meet and leave people better than you found them. A kind loving word goes a long way.
What is the last book you read or are reading?
Reading is my favorite pastime. I have read all books by Dan Brown, Emily Giffin and Jane Greene. My favorite book is “Mist of Avalon” by Marion Zimmer Bradley. I am currently reading “Gone Girl” by Gillian Flynn.
