"My goto app is Flipboard. It’s not necessarily a legal-related app, but it gathers content from news publications, magazines and other social media based on preferences you set, and then displays stories, articles, blog posts, videos and other content in a magazine-like format. It’s a great way to stay informed on current news, technology, sports, etc. so that you’re not clueless when someone asks, ‘Did you hear about … ?’"

"PDF Expert by Readdle Inc. provides tabbed PDF viewing and robust markup tools on iOS. Handwriting, bookmarks, comments, signatures and more all synchronize with the user’s choice of cloud services. If my practice ever becomes paperless, it will be largely because of this app. I can annotate documents in advance, take handwritten notes directly on source materials during a deposition and travel with complete, searchable, voluminous production sets. The Microsoft Office programs for Windows and iOS also remain staples."

"My favorite ‘go to app’ for work is TranscriptPad for my iPad. I use it every time I am prepping for a trial. The app allows me to carry several depositions with me while traveling without lugging all of the paper and is very useful for creating page/line designations and witness script. I also frequently use the map app and weather app on my iPhone during work-related travel. Outside of work, I frequently use shopping apps like Zulily as well as YouTube

and various kids’ games for my son."

"NoWait — Can’t get a table at First Watch or TacoLu? This app allows you to get on the waiting list before you even leave the house. If you time it right, your table is ready when you arrive at the restaurant. Another go to app of mine is Bleacher Report Team Stream. It’s a sports news aggregator. Select your favorite teams to receive a customized news feed. The best part: You can sync the app to your fantasy football roster to stay in the know and win your league."
