A record amount was raised at the eighth annual Canan Firm St. Patrick’s Day event for St. Johns County Legal Aid, the St. Augustine location of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid.

The March event brought in more than $6,000 from the local legal community.

It was another wonderful year of good cheer, funny limericks and a wonderful Irish band.

Guests enjoyed Irish stew, corned beef and cabbage, free-flowing Irish drinks and, of course, a great deal of luck.

The attorneys, judges, court reporters and legal community of St Johns County are overwhelmingly supportive of its local legal aid and gives generously with their time and their treasure.
