As the largest homebuilders association in Florida and the fifth in the U.S., NEFBA is pushing closer to the top nationwide.
“Our goal this year was to again to reach 100 new members during the membership drive,” said NEFBA’s Member Services Director Hans Krieg. “We nearly made it, welcoming 86 new companies into NEFBA. We should exceed 100 by May 31.”
From May 2-19, members kicked off the drive with a party to establish the rules and to get the blood flowing.
Early the next morning, the St. Johns Builders Council team, captained by Jerry Dean, gained new members and renewed others.
On phones, by his side were Todd Knowles, Andy Chambers, Jamie Warrington, Chris Hussey and Joe Geneau.
For the next two days, the teams encouraged prospective members to be a part of this great association.
The NEFBA board team, led by Chet Skinner, won the competition by recruiting 39 of the 86 new members.
The team’s top producers were AJ Beson (Beson4 Media) with 12 new members, Mike Brown (Micamy Design) with seven, Chris Dostie (Dostie Homes) with six and Matt Devereaux (Lennar) and Chet Skinner (Skinner Bros Realty) with four new members each.
Other team members were Rick Morales, Linda Hutchins, Chris Hagan, Joe Flask, Ryan Davis, Tim Adkinson and William Harris.
Top total points went to Beson (12), Gene Rover of B&G Plumbing on the Remodelers Team (10.75) and Devereaux (8.75).
NEFBA also extends a big thank to Keith Ward, Joe Blanco, David Hacker, Dennis Ginder, Doug Wenzel, Trish Kolosky, Robert Marshall, Harlan Bost, Sean Junker, Sherry Davidson, Jamie Warrington, Ben Stephens, Bill Stone, Chris Hussey, Cole Slate, Howard Sheffield, Laurie Alvich, Lenny McAneny, Peter Helton, Shawn Starr and Zach Scott.
