If you add the costs together, the best $100 I’ve spent would be the ribeye steaks that I’ve had at Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse. I can’t recall ever having a better steak, but I’m open to suggestions.

Collette B. Cunningham, Middle District of Florida assistant U.S. attorney

I met my husband at a salsa dance class offered by a parks and recreation center. The classes cost less than $100 and they were well worth it.

As a wife and a mother, for those that know me, it is no surprise that the best $100 I have ever spent or will ever spend is during a time when I am creating memories with my family. Although I do enjoy retail therapy, a new purse or pair of shoes bear no comparison to time with my family. Most recently, my daughter, Alyssa, celebrated her 13th birthday. My husband and I celebrated her birthday by taking her horseback riding at Highland Farm in Middleburg. If you round downward, the expense was about $100. The time with my family, the joy on my daughter’s face and an opportunity to celebrate another year of life = priceless.

Felicia A. Wilcox, Three Rivers Legal Services Inc.

What immediately comes to mind when I think about the best $100 I have ever spent, is what I spend taking my 8-year-old nephew and 10-year-old niece out for a ‘Fun Day’ at the mall or to the Adventure Landing park. I usually spend too much, but we have a great time just hanging out together.
