Attorneys of the St. Johns County office of Jacksonville Area Legal Aid were recognized Dec. 16 at the annual Pro Bono Appreciation Night.

The reception was at the Markland House on the campus of Flagler College. Several 7th Judicial Circuit judges were present to add their words of thanks and congratulations.

The contributions of the attorneys clearly increase access to justice for hundreds of the underserved.

Those at the ceremony include Brandon Beardsley, Judge Charles Tinlin, Paras Desai, Dave Naples, Judge Howard McGillin, Tom Pycraft, Putnam County Judge Clyde Wolfe, John Spence, Michael Pelkowski, Judge Michael Traynor, Judge Alex Christine, Judge Elizabeth Blackburn, Jamin Rubenstein, Judge Scott Dupont, St. Johns County Legal Aid Managing Attorney Megan Wall and Judge John Alexander.

Other honorees were Amanda Edwards, Leanna Freeman, Jay Grife, Donato Rinaldi, Felecia Walker, Missy Renfroe (Most Helpful Clerk Award). Unable to attend were Rusty Collins, Ron Duryea, Anne Marie Gennusa, Suzanne Green and Kennetha Julian.
