Roberson sworn in to circuit bench

He was sworn in by 4th Judicial Circuit Chief Judge Mark Mahon, with Rosemarie D’Amour, Mahon’s judicial assistant, witnessing the oath. Roberson said he is declining an investiture because he was appointed to the county court just two years ago, and didn’t want the court to devote the resources that would be needed for a second ceremony so soon after he joined the county bench. Roberson, who fills the vacancy created when former Circuit Judge Mark Hulsey resigned, said he’ll spend this week wrapping up his county criminal court docket and will begin serving in the juvenile division of the circuit court  Monday.
