Community First Credit Union expanding into Neptune Beach

Buys former Atlantic Coast Bank branch at at 1425 Atlantic Blvd.

Community First Credit Union announced Wednesday it purchased the former Atlantic Coast Bank branch at 1425 Atlantic Blvd. in Neptune Beach for $2.2 million.

The seller was Ameris Bank, which acquired the property when it merged with Atlantic Coast Federal, formerly known as Atlantic Coast Bank.

Renovations planned for the 3,864-square-foot branch include a tower feature, drive-through teller window and ATM.

TTV Architects Inc. is the architect and Auld & White Constructors LLC is the contractor.

Community First said that its branch at 1650 San Pablo Road will relocate to the new Neptune Beach location when it is completed in early 2020.
