Pulte Homes named David Smith president of Jacksonville Operations for the company’s North Florida division.
Smith was the Pulte division president in Jacksonville until 2007.
“I’m thrilled to be back as a member of the Pulte team and am looking forward to leading efforts to grow our Jacksonville market share,” Smith said. “The company is committed to the market and ready to increase our investment level and build on the success we have experienced to date.”
Smith returns to Pulte after more than five years with AV Homes as its Jacksonville division president.
“We want to grow to a comfortable level in Jacksonville that’s sustainable in the marketplace and be able to offer our world-class customer service and products to more homebuyers,” said Peter Keane, Florida area president of Pulte Homes.
Pulte’s building activity in North Florida is concentrated in the Nocatee, Twin Creeks and Palencia communities.
“We are involved with a variety of impressive communities in Jacksonville already,” Keane said. “Now we are looking to expand and take advantage of all the great opportunities that are available.”
