Walmart has finished remodeling its store in Mandarin, adding online grocery pickup service to the Supercenter.

The store, at 10991 San Jose Blvd. held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday morning.

The international chain announced in April that it plans to spend about $200 million over the next year expanding shopping options through new store construction, improvements and innovations, according to a news release.

The Mandarin store, which has other enhancements like improved store navigation and a “refreshed pharmacy,” is one of three stores in the Jacksonville area slated for renovation this year, the release states.

“We’ve made it more convenient than ever to shop at Walmart,” said Mandarin store manager Scott Snodsmith.

“Whether shopping with us in store or online, the experience will be as seamless as possible.”
