The city issued a permit Monday for Strings Sports Brewery to build out at 1850 N. Main St. in Springfield.
Contractor Giles-McIvor Inc. will convert the building at Ninth and Main streets into a brewery and sports bar, along with indoor and outdoor games, at a cost of $653,000.
Jacksonville-native Scott Adeeb is “String” and his sons, Trevor and Colby Adeeb, are brewers.
Patrick Dillon is executive chef.
