Surge Jacksonville applied for a certificate of use to operate Surge Adventure Parks Jacksonville in the former Sports Authority space at the Regency Court Shopping Center.

On Facebook, Surge Adventure Park – Jacksonville, FL describes the park as an “indoor air-conditioned adventure park facility with wall to wall trampolines, flying trapeze, dodgeball, battle beam, rock climbing wall, foam pit and basketball dunking lanes.”

The application says Surge will use 30,000 square feet of space at 9292 Arlington Expressway.

Perimeter West seeks a city development number for mass clearing and grading along Perimeter Industrial Parkway West. England-Thims & Miller Inc. is the civil engineer. The Perimeter West Industrial Park is at northeast Interstate 295 and Pritchard Road in West Jacksonville.

AJC Logistics LLC will lease 42,000 square feet of additional storage and distribution space at 2020 W. 26th St. in Northwest Jacksonville. Its primary Jacksonville location is at 11084 Cabot Commerce Circle in North Jacksonville. 

VyStar Credit Union is renovating a former bank branch at 1600 Hendricks Ave. at a cost of $519,317. Dana B. Kenyon Co. is the contractor.

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority submitted plans for its proposed First Coast Flyer University Transit Hub at 5800 Philips Highway at Bowden Road, near University Boulevard. A closed nightclub on the site will be demolished. JTA bought the 2.82-acre property in February for $1.3 million. The project is expected to be completed next year.
