Hillwood continues preparations to build a 1.5 million-square-foot warehouse at AllianceFlorida at Cecil Commerce Center.

Engineering consultant Prosser Inc. submitted revised plans to the city for early clearing for the warehouse at 13483 103rd St., which is on Parcels A2 and B next to the Amazon.com fulfillment center.

“We prepared and filed for the permits to position the land for quicker delivery,” said Hillwood Senior Vice President Dan Tatsch.

Dallas-based Hillwood, the master developer at Cecil Commerce Center, also is working toward a 1.5 million-square-foot warehouse on Parcels H and I.

Tatsch said he had no comment about speculation regarding prospective tenants.

Wayfair Inc. and Lowe’s Companies Inc. are speculated as prospects and Wayfair has been posting Jacksonville jobs for a large parcel home delivery operation.

A Wayfair spokeswoman said Thursday the company has no comment.

A Lowe’s spokesman said previously the company always is evaluating possible locations but did not have any information to share about Northeast Florida.
