VanTrust Real Estate LLC filed civil site plans with the city for a more than 1.1 million-square-foot industrial building at Imeson Park, the 156-acre warehouse property it owns in North Jacksonville.

VanTrust Executive Vice President John Carey said no tenant has been signed and the development timing has not been determined.

England-Thims & Miller Inc. is the agent and civil engineer. The 1,106,580-square-foot warehouse is planned on 53 acres along Cold Storage Road at the Malnove Drive extension.

The facility will provide parking for 222 vehicles and 550 trailers and will include a small portion within the building for the main office, plans indicate.

The project, called Building E, is part of the 3 million square feet of development rights VanTrust has at the park.

VanTrust, through JI Imeson Industrial LLC, already is building the 300,000-square-foot Building C for Cra-Z-Art and a 552,170-square-foot speculative warehouse that will be available in September. Those are along Cold Storage Road.

The Cra-Z-Art building under development has been sold to an investor.

VanTrust paid $18.44 million in September 2018 for the Imeson Park property within Imeson International Industrial Park.

VanTrust submitted plans dated Aug. 23.

When VanTrust Real Estate bought the land, it envisioned development of 3 million square feet of space among three to six buildings, indicating buildings of 500,000 to 1 million square feet.
