Arlington appears to be on track for another Circle K gas station and convenience store.

Circle K Stores Inc. bought vacant land at northwest Atlantic and University boulevards July 22.

It paid almost $1.68 million for 2.15 acres.  The deed was signed by seller Michael Balanky, president of Jacksonville-based Chase Properties Inc.

Circle K assembled four parcels for the purchase.

Balanky said he understands that construction could start by the second quarter.
