Darnell Smith, market president of the Florida Blue North Florida Region, is the 2019 recipient of the the 21st Thompson S. Baker “Solid as a Rock” Award. Junior Achievement of North Florida will make the annual award at its Hall of Fame celebration at noon May 14 at the Hyatt Regency Jacksonville Riverfront. Baker was the founder of Florida Rock Industries.
