Restaurant notes: Miller’s Ale House, Chick-fil-A, Rino’s Pizza Grill & Italian Cuisine and more make moves

Miller’s Ale House applied for a certificate of use for its new 7,149-square-foot, full-service restaurant at 10334 Southside Blvd., at The Avenues mall.

Miller’s Ale House was built at the site where Buca de Beppo was demolished.

More restaurant notes

•  Chick-fil-A Inc. applied to the city to remodel at 14020 Lunar Drive in River City Marketplace. The project comprises a brand-image remodel, kitchen renovation, addition of a multilane order point, and a canopy system. No contractor is listed.

• A permit application is in review for Tropical Smoothie Cafe to build-out at Gateway Village at Town Center. No contractor is listed for the project, shown as a $75,000 build-out of 1,370 square feet, with a drive-thru, at 10618 Deerwood Park Blvd.

• The city approved a permit for Honest Construction Inc. to build-out space in Bowden Corners for Rino’s Pizza Grill & Italian Cuisine at 5711 Bowden Road, Suite 12. The almost 1,600-square-foot space will be renovated at a cost of $66,650. 

• Panera Bread was approved to remodel its 4,643-square-foot St. Augustine restaurant at 600 Tingle Court at a cost of $160,000.

Dunkin’ Donuts applied to St. Johns County to build a 2,350-square-foot store with two drive-thru lanes in Bartram Market, north of Race Track Road and Bartram Park Boulevard.

Moe’s Southwest Grill was approved to build a 2,600-square-foot restaurant and drive-thru in St. Johns County at a cost of $854,323 at 1685 U.S. 1 S. in St. Augustine.

• The city issued a concurrency reservation certificate for Starbucks to open a 2,515-square-foot, 60-seat coffee shop and drive-thru to be built on 0.78 acres at 11240 Beach Blvd. at St. Johns Square. Bowman Consulting is the agent.
