WoodSpring Suites in review in South Jacksonville

270-unit apartment project planned for Oakleaf; First Florida Credit Union to Tamaya.

A second WoodSpring Suites hotel is in permitting review for South Jacksonville.

Concord WP COL Campfield LLC is listed as the developer at 11250 Lamb Tail Lane in Campfield Commons off Baymeadows Road, east of Interstate 295.

The location is off RG Skinner Parkway at Annie Eliza Road.

The developer, part of Concord Hospitality Enterprises, proposes a four-story, 122-room WoodSpring Suites on 1.85 acres at a construction cost of $6.6 million. The building is shown at almost 50,000 square feet.

Concord Hospitality is based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Base4 of Coral Springs is the architect.

In September, Baker Design Build submitted plans for the hotel.

It is the second WoodSpring Suites submitted for permitting.

The city also is reviewing a permit application for a four-story, 122-room WoodSpring Suites hotel on 3.13 acres at 7137 Bonneval Road, near the Bentley dealership under development.

No contractor is listed for the $6.5 million project, shown as 49,250 square feet. Gold Coast Premier Properties is the developer. 

WoodSpring Suites is an extended-stay brand of Choice Hotels International Inc. Three operate in Jacksonville.

270-unit apartment project in Oakleaf

The city is reviewing permit applications for a 270-unit apartment project at 9849 Crosshill Blvd. in Oakleaf. Chadbourne V LLC is the owner.

Plans show nine 30-unit apartment buildings, nine detached garages, a mail kiosk, a maintenance building and a clubhouse and leasing center with a pool on the 14.44-acre site. Construction costs total $20.5 million.

Plans show 108 one-, 108 two- and 54 three-bedroom units. England-Thims & Miller Inc. is the civil engineer. Group 4 Design Inc. is the architect.

First Florida Credit Union to Tamaya

 The city is reviewing an application for First Florida Credit Union to build a 2,960-square-foot office on 0.60 acres at 3280 Tamaya Blvd. in Tamaya Market, the Sprouts Farmers Market-anchored center at northeast Beach and Kernan boulevards. No contractor is listed for the $749,000 project.
