Gas station notes: Moves for Wawa, Gate and Love's Travel Stops

City reviewing plans for Wawa in Arlington, Paxon.

The city is reviewing civil engineering plans for the proposed Wawa gas station and convenience store at northeast University Boulevard and Arlington Road in Arlington. Grunthal & Schueth Properties is the developer.

The city issued a new mobility fee calculation certificate for the proposed Wawa at Edgewood and Commonwealth avenues in the Paxon area of Northwest Jacksonville. Brightwork Real Estate is the developer.

Gate on Dunn Avenue

The city issued a conditional capacity availability statement for Gate Petroleum Co. to rebuild the Gate convenience store at 4234 Dunn Ave. Gate proposes to demolish the store and build a larger one on the 2.11-acre site. 

Love’s Travel Stops in Baldwin

The city is reviewing construction permits for Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores on 17.21 acres at 17110 Brandy Branch Road in West Jacksonville.

No contractor is listed for the $6 million fueling station, convenience store and two fast-food restaurants, shown as Bojangles’ and Godfather’s Pizza.
