VyStar closing branches because of Hurricane Dorian

Jacksonville-based credit union will reopen Thursday unless the storm progression could change that.

VyStar Credit Union will close some branches because of the uncertainty of Hurricane Dorian’s path.

Jacksonville-based VyStar said branches will be closed Monday for the Labor Day holiday and Tuesday and Wednesday because of the storm in:

  • Orange City
  • DeLand
  • Port Orange
  • Daytona Beach
  • Ormond Beach
  • Palm Coast
  • St. Augustine Beach
  • St. Augustine
  • North St. Augustine
  • Ponte Vedra Beach
  • Jacksonville Beach
  • Neptune Beach
  • Fernandina Beach

VyStar spokeswoman Judy Walz said Sunday the Jacksonvlle branches are planned to be open, but the credit union is watching as the storm progresses.

VyStar said it will resume normal operations including all branches and the call center on Thursday, although that could change.

VyStar said direct deposits will be processed as usual, and all VyStar ATMs will remain operational, weather permitting. Members can continue to access their account information online via Internet Banking, Mobile Banking or Magic*Touch phone service.
