Dollar General, already in expansion mode, is adding locations in Murray Hill and in St. Johns and Nassau counties.
For Murray Hill, the city issued permits for Dollar General to build a 7,500-square-foot store at 3005 Post St. Concept Construction of North Florida Inc. is the contractor for the $315,000 project on an acre.
The St. Johns and Nassau projects do not specify Dollar General, but the developer is Concept, which builds Dollar General stores.
St. Johns County is reviewing a permit application for Concept Development Inc. to develop a 9,100-square-foot commercial retail store on 2.52 acres at Florida 207, west of Vermont Boulevard in the Elkton area.
In Nassau County, JEA issued a service availabity letter to Concept Companies to develop a 9,100-square-foot commercial store at Chester and Lee roads in Yulee.
