After reopening its retail stores May 17, Apple is closing its St. Johns Town Center store again in response to a rise in COVID-19 cases.

The store closed July 1, and according to Apple’s website, it will remain closed until further notice. The store is at 4835 River City Drive.

“We look forward to resuming full operations as soon as it’s safe to do so,” said a statement on the website.

The store is open for existing pickup orders. Previously scheduled Genius bar appointments will be honored through July 2.

Apple did not return a request for comment as of 3 p.m. July 1.

“Due to current COVID-19 conditions in some of the communities we serve, we are temporarily closing stores in these areas,” a spokesman said in a statement to CNBC. “We take this step with an abundance of caution as we closely monitor the situation and we look forward to having our teams and customers back as soon as possible.”

With the closure of the Jacksonville location and a Sarasota store July 1, all its Florida stores are temporarily closed. Stores in Mississippi, Texas and Utah also closed July 1.

More stores in Alabama, California, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Nevada and Oklahoma will close July 2, according to CNBC.
