The city issued a concurrency reservation certificate for RH, previously known as Restoration Hardware, at St. Johns Town Center.
RH will build a three-story, 48,697-square-foot luxury home-furnishings store on 4.47 acres along River City Drive. It will be on what now is a parking lot behind J. Alexander’s and True Food Kitchen.
RH is on parcel 2 of the Town Center’s fourth phase.
England-Thims & Miller Inc. is the civil engineer.
Aldi at Durbin Crossing
JEA and St. Johns County are reviewing a service availability request and plans for Aldi to build a 19,209-square-foot discount food market at Durbin Creek Crossing in St. Johns County.
The store is planned at southwest Race Track Road and St. Johns Parkway.
Arby’s, RPM to Nassau County
JEA is reviewing a service-availability request for a 2,760-square-foot Arby’s restaurant and a 5,820-square-foot RPM Automotive shop at Florida A1A and Chester Road in Nassau County.
Gate on Dunn Avenue
The city is reviewing a permit application for Gate Petroleum to build a Gate gas station and convenience store at 4234 Dunn Ave. at a project cost of $2.2 million.
No contractor is specified for the project.
Gate wants to build a 6,544-square-foot store and east and west fuel canopies on the 2.11-acre site to replace an older Gate store.
The city calculated a $31,738 mobility fee to mitigate the traffic impact.
Heartland Dental to Oakleaf Station
The city is reviewing a permit application for Heartland Dental at 8324 Merchants Way. No contractor is listed for the $366,080 build-out of 3,328 square feet.
First Florida at Tamaya
First Florida Credit Union paid $875,000 on Dec. 13 for 0.6 acres from HRP Tamaya Market LLC to build a branch in Tamaya Market at northeast Beach and Kernan boulevards.
First Florida intends to build a 2,960-square-foot office at 3280 Tamaya Blvd.
The city issued a building permit March 11 at a job cost of $749,000. North Coast Construction Co. is the contractor. Harbour Retail Partners of Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, is developing Tamaya Market.
