In November 2019, Atlanta-based Rooker sold 6.2 acres for retail development to a partnership of Skinner Bros. Realty and The Silverfield Group, both based in Jacksonville.
That property, which fronts Pritchard Road, is being developed for a Tru by Hilton hotel with land remaining for uses such as a gas station-convenience store and a fast-food restaurant.
The city is reviewing final engineering plans for the Tru by Hilton hotel at 4142 Perimeter Industrial Parkway W., at Pritchard Road and Interstate 295.
The four-story, 82-room, 38,575-square-foot hotel is planned on 1.8 acres.
Leed Silverfield said Aug. 12 his group completed the sale of the property to the hotel developer.
He said the retail site is graded with utilities, an access road and curb cut.
Silverfield said Aug. 17 the group is under contract to sell the remaining 4.3 acres to a national convenience store/gas station chain, but said he could not disclose the name.
