Leadership transition at Rogers | Towers

Joseph Clay Meux Jr. is elected chairman of the board, managing director and president.

After 11 years as managing director at Rogers | Towers law firm, Fred Franklin Jr. is transitioning to the full-time practice of law in the firm’s Litigation Department.

Franklin now holds the position of chairman emeritus of the firm’s board of directors.

Meux has served on the firm’s board since 2017 and is a shareholder in the Estates and Trusts Department.

With heartfelt dedication, and tenacity for achieving excellence, he is committed to bringing the best possible results to the firm and its clients, ” Franklin said in a news release.

Meux holds board positions on Columbia Theological Seminary and the Downtown Ecumenical Services Council, is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys and is a Leadership Jacksonville alumnus. 

“I look forward to building on Fred’s legacy as Managing Director. Fred is a consummate leader, fiercely loyal to the Rogers Towers reputation for excellence, serving clients and our community with passion and pride,” Meux said in the release.
