Superior Construction Company Southeast in Jacksonville appointed Burns Logan as lead general counsel.
Logan will advise the infrastructure contractor in legal matters, manage construction-related and general legal operations and have a role in implementing the business strategy.
“Burns’ professional history in construction law, arbitration, mediation and contract negotiation made him an easy choice to bring onto the team as our lead general counsel,” said Scott Witt, Superior chief operating officer, in a news release.
Logan’s nearly 20 years of experience includes six years as assistant general counsel at Jacobs in Dallas working in the company’s Design Build & Operations and Claims and Litigation units.
Superior Construction Co. Inc. was established in 1938 in Portage, Indiana, to serve clients in the Midwest.
Superior Construction Company Southeast LLC opened in Jacksonville in 1987 to serve clients in the Southeast.
Cobb & Gonzalez added associate attorney Summer Reed to its office to practice business and construction litigation.
She is a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association Young Lawyers Section Chili Cook-off Committee.
Reed graduated in 2020 from Florida Coastal School of Law, where she was president of the Moot Court Honor Board and a student ambassador.
