Richard Rivera, a partner in Smith Gambrell Russell’s Jacksonville office, is appointed chair of The Florida Bar’s Mental Health & Wellness of Florida Lawyers Committee.
The committee was established to implement the 2018-19 Florida Bar Strategic Planning Priority, which focuses on the mental health and wellness of the state’s lawyers, and to continue the work started by the Special Committee on Mental Health and Wellness of Florida Lawyers.
Rivera was vice chair of the committee for the past two years and also was the Young Lawyers Division’s liaison to the Commission on Lawyer Assistance Programs of the American Bar Association.
