The Jacksonville Chapter of the Federal Bar Association presents a conversation with law professor Stephen Vladeck at noon March 15 at the Bryan Simpson U.S. Courthouse.
Vladeck is the Charles Alan Wright Chair in Federal Courts at the University of Texas School of Law. His book, “The Shadow Docket: How the Supreme Court Uses Stealth Rulings to Amass Power and Undermine the Republic,” will be published in May.
He also co-hosts the National Security Law Podcast with fellow UT law professor Robert Chesney and writes the weekly “One First” Substack, a newsletter aiming to make the U.S. Supreme Court’s rulings, procedures and history more accessible. CLE credit is anticipated.
