Oceanfront home sells for record $19 million in Northeast Florida

The Ponte Vedra Beach property exceeds the previous record of $16.25 million, also along Ponte Vedra Boulevard.

An oceanfront Ponte Vedra Beach home is now the most expensive ever sold in Northeast Florida.

The property at 801 Ponte Vedra Blvd. sold Aug. 29 for $19 million, according to St. Johns County records. The home is about 2.8 miles south of the Ponte Vedra Inn & Club main building.

According to the property listing, the 9,200-square-foot, two-story home has 5/6 bedrooms, seven baths, two half-baths and a covered outdoor living area.

Other features include a chef’s kitchen, butler’s pantry and service pantry for catering. The home’s “antique bar with wine cellar flows directly to the outdoor summer kitchen, swim-up bar and fireplace, overlooking the ocean.”

According to the property listing, the 9,200-square-foot, two-story home at 801 Ponte Vedra Blvd. has 5/6 bedrooms, seven baths, two half-baths and a covered outdoor living area.

According to the deed, the seller was Dale B. Wolf, his wife, Jean C. Wolf, and the Dale B. Wolf Revocable Trust.

The buyer was Happy Oceanview LLC, a Delaware limited liability company with an address of 314 Marquesa Circle in St. Johns County. According to property records, that home is owned by spouses Devendra and Dhara Patel.

Happy Oceanview LLC is not shown on the Florida State Division of Corporations website.

According to the property records, the Dale B. Wolf Revocable Trust bought the property in 2013 for $3.375 million.

In May, a home at 1329 Ponte Vedra Blvd. in Ponte Vedra Beach for sold $16.25 million, which was the previous record-holder for the most-expensive.
