The city issued a permit Sept. 21 for Chipotle Mexican Grill to build-out at 9172 Baymeadows Road at a project cost of $541,275.
It will be at least the 17th Chipotle in Northeast Florida.
Duffey Southeast Inc. of Cedartown, Georgia, is the contractor.
The permit comes after the May 11 permit for construction of a 2,325-square-foot shell building and drive-thru for Chipotle on an acre at southwest Baymeadows Road and Western Way at a project cost of $1.425 million.
Premier American Construction Inc. of Green Cove Springs is the contractor for the project at a job cost of $1.425 million.
Florida Retail Group LLC of Neptune Beach is the landlord.
Chipotle has 12 locations in Jacksonville and one each in Jacksonville Beach, Orange Park, St. Augustine and Yulee.
