Banyan Air Service, a maintenance, repair and overhaul provider, has expanded its operations to the Northeast Florida Regional Airport. It is the airport’s newest tenant.

Specializing in HondaJet sales and service, Banyan leases hangar space at the airport in St. Augustine to provide service and support to HondaJet owners and operators in Northeast Florida, including inspections, modifications, avionics upgrades and aircraft on-ground support.

“The airport’s convenient location and exceptional support from the airport staff have made the transition seamless,” Banyan Vice President and Director of MRO Services Charlie Amento said in a news release April 3.

“We look forward to providing top-notch service and support to HondaJet owners and operators throughout the Southeastern United States from our new base in St. Augustine.”

According to its website, Banyan has maintenance and repair station approvals in Argentina, Aruba, Brazil, the Cayman Islands, Chile, Colombia and Mexico. It was founded in 1979.

Northeast Florida Regional Airport, at 4900 U.S. 1, 4 miles north of St. Augustine, is owned and operated by the St. Johns County Airport Authority.

It offers services and facilities to charter operators, aviation-related businesses and general aviation users.
