Restaurant Notes: Five Guys, two Chick-fil-A locations

Permit applications are in review for the three businesses.

The city of Jacksonville is reviewing permit applications for more restaurants and food retailers. They include:

Five Guys in Ortega Park. No contractor is listed for the estimated $350,000 build-out of the 2,773-square-foot restaurant at 4495 Roosevelt Blvd., No, 300-301.

It will be next to West Marine. Plans show 51 indoor seats and 12 patio seats.

Mark Salopek LLC of Cleveland is the architect.

Chick-fil-A

Chick-fil-A at 11909 Atlantic Blvd. at an estimated cost of $800,000. 

The 2,468-square-foot drive-thru-only restaurant is planned on 1.06 acres in the Atlantic North shopping center.

It will have 34 parking spaces along with space for 30 cars to stack among two drive-thru lanes – 42 at peak.

Chick-fil-A at 11709 San Jose Blvd. at an estimated project cost of $800,000.

W.H. Bass Inc. of Duluth, Georgia, is the contractor.

The project is a 3,569-square-foot quick-service restaurant with a drive-thru and canopies on 1.03 acres.

On Jan. 22, Entail Corporation Inc., led by Eric Gillis as president, registered the name, Chick-fil-A at South Mandarin, at the address.

Entail is based at 3280 Oak Bluff Lane, also a Chick-fil-A.
