Lanny Russell joined Shutts & Bowen’s Jacksonville office as a partner in its Construction Litigation Practice Group.
Russell has more than 35 years of experience representing clients in construction and commercial disputes. His practice focuses on real estate development, construction defects, contract disputes, insurance coverage and related business litigation representing owners, developers, contractors, design professionals and lenders.
Russell has served as chair of the Jacksonville Bar Association’s Professionalism Committee and as chair of the Jacksonville Public Library Board of Trustees. He is a former University of North Florida trustee and currently serves as vice president of Hubbard House Foundation, Inc.’s board of directors.
He also was chair of the 4th Judicial Circuit Grievance Commission and a member of the Florida Supreme Court Committee on Standard Jury Instructions.
Russell received a J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.
