The Vale at Baymeadows apartments sold April 15 for $42 million.
The apartments, at 7820 Baymeadows Road E., were previously known as Courtney Meadows.
Resource Real Estate Opportunity OP II LP of Chicago, a real estate entity associated with Blackstone Real Estate Income Trust of New York, sold the 14-building apartment community through RRE Courtney Meadows Holdings LLC.
Blackstone is a large investment firm.
American Landmark Apartments, of Tampa, bought the property through The Vale at Baymeadows LLC. The company holds several multifamily, owner-operated properties throughout Florida, Georgia, the Carolinas and Texas.
American Landmark Apartments took out a $37.97 million mortgage with PGIM Real Estate Agency Financing LLC of Arlington, Virginia.

The apartments were built on 23.22 acres in 2001. There are 276 units, according to the Duval County Property Appraiser’s Office. The unit price is $152,173.
The apartments are between Interstate 295 and Baymeadows Road East, south of Gate Parkway. They are near Deerwood Rotary Children’s Park.
The community offers one-, two- and three-bedroom units with one or two bathrooms. They are 820 to 1,247 square feet with rents from $1,295 to $1,825, according to apartments.com.
Amenities include a pool with a sundeck, a dog park, an on-site car wash area, detached private garages, package lockers, EV-charging stations, a fitness center and 24-hour emergency maintenance.
The property last sold in December 2017 for $41.4 million.
