Construction is expected to begin soon on Beachwalk Shops in St. Johns County, the developer announced June 5.
In an email, Ashco Centers said work is set to begin within the next 90 days on the 30,000-square-foot Class A outparcel at the entrance to BJ’s Wholesale Club at 115 Beachwalk Blvd. along County Road 210. The Beachwalk development is between Interstate 95 and U.S. 1.
Plans show seven units, with one 6,288 square feet, one 4,130-square-foot and five at 2,353 square feet each. There are 104 parking spaces, including four handicapped spaces.

“The project is designed to bring an elevated retail, restaurant, medical, and service experience to a rapidly growing area that continues to see strong residential expansion, increased traffic, and significant demand from both national tenants and the surrounding community,” Tiffany Ashurian, vice president of leasing and acquisitions for Ashco Centers, wrote in the email.
Ashurian coordinated the transaction with Stephanie McCullough of SRS Real Estate Partners. “The development has already received significant interest from national brands, with available suites starting at approximately 1,200 square feet and the ability to accommodate users up to 30,000 square feet,” Ashurian wrote.
