Hilton Garden Inn near St. Johns Town Center sells for $11.3 million

The Hilton Garden Inn Jacksonville JTB/Deerwood sold for $11.3 million on June 11.

The hotel is at 9745 Gate Parkway N., near St. Johns Town Center.

Ashford Hospitality Trust Inc. of Dallas sold the property through Ashford Jacksonville I LP.

MACO Management Co. Inc., of Malden, Missouri, bought the hotel through Jacksonville Hotel Partners LLC.

Ashford Hospitality Trust is a real estate investment trust that focuses on investing in upscale, full-service hotels, according to its website.

The MACO Management Co. website describes the firm as providing real estate management services to residential and commercial holdings.

The 72,108-square-foot hotel was built on 2.3 acres in 1999. It has 119 rooms, an on-site restaurant, an outdoor pool, a 24-hour business center and free WiFi.

The hotel last sold in November 2003 for $10.82 million.
