Fourteen Northeast Florida judges reelected unopposed

Thirteen in Duval County and one from Nassau County faced no competition.

Thirteen 4th Circuit judges and a Nassau County judge are automatically reelected because they were the only candidates filed at the end of the judicial qualifying period, Duval County Supervisor of Elections Jerry Holland said May 1.

Fourth Circuit judges reelected unopposed:

  • Lester Bass
  • Meredith Charbula
  • James Daniel
  • Lance Day (chief judge)
  • Larry Hutton Jr.
  • Michael Kalil
  • Virginia Norton
  • Tatiana Salvador
  • Michael Sharrit
  • Waddell Wallace

Duval County judges reelected unopposed:

  • Gary Flower
  • James Nealis
  • Rhonda Peoples-Waters

Also, Nassau County Judge Jenny Higginbotham is reelected unopposed.
