Gov.-elect Rick Scott, a U.S. Navy veteran, was one of the grand marshals for Jacksonville’s Veterans Day Parade. Scott said he asked to be part of the procession because it’s the largest Veterans Day parade in the state. More than 3,500 veterans and civilians participated this year, witnessed by thousands of people who lined the streets Downtown.
