• The Daily Record Bad News Beers team fell 2-1 to the Jacksonville Business Journal and 2-0 to Folio Weekly in the first News Room Street Fight double-elimination charity dodgeball tournament Feb. 25. The nine news teams combined to raise $6,354 for the Police Athletic League of Jacksonville and the money will be used to help the Eastside PAL Tackle & Cheer programs. WOKV was the top fundraiser with $1,830, followed by the Beers with $1,395.
