• The command of Naval Air Station Jacksonville changes in January. The change-of-command ceremony is planned at 11 a.m. Jan. 13 at which Capt. Robert Sanders assumes command from Capt. Jeffrey Maclay. Sanders has been the executive officer. Maclay assumed the duties of executive officer at NAS Jacksonville in July 2009 and became commanding officer in May 2010, relieving Capt. Jack Scorby Jr. Scorby recently returned to Jacksonville as commander of Navy Region Southeast and assumed the rank of rear admiral.
