• Peter Rummell, principal of the Rummell Company, took over as chair of the global Urban Land Institute, a 30,000-member nonprofit research and education organization. It’s a voluntary two-year position that ends June 30, 2013. A member of ULI since 1983, Rummell began his 40-year development career working at the Sea Pines Company in Hilton Head, S.C., followed by other positions, including president of the Disney Development Company and chair of Walt Disney Imagineering, where he guided major developments including the Celebration community. He was chair and CEO The St. Joe Co.
