Lender Processing Services said this morning it has appointed Hugh R. Harris as president and chief executive officer. He also will serve on the board of directors. Harris served as president of the Financial Services Technology division at Fidelity National Financial and Fidelity National Information Services, before the FIS spinoff of Lender Processing Services. Former LPS president and CEO Jeffrey Carbiener stepped down in July because of “significant health-related reasons,” according to the company.
