• The Fourth Judicial Circuit has named The Jacksonville Bar Association (JBA) as the manager of the Circuit’s Managed Mediation Program. The Florida Supreme Court recently issued administrative order No. AOSC09-54 requiring mediation for foreclosure cases involving residential Homestead property. The JBA was one of four organizations to submit proposals to the Circuit to manage its program. The top two qualifications for managers are, “1. Compliant with ADR principles as promulgated by the supreme court,and ADR statutes and rules; 2. Nonprofit entity or associated with a reputable organization of proven competence, autonomous and independent of the judicial branch.”
