Panera, Chipotle and Bento intent to lease at the shopping center next to Brooklyn Station.
The city issued permits Tuesday for construction of Brooklyn Place along Riverside Avenue, where Panera Bread, Chipotle and Bento Asian Kitchen + Sushi will lease space.
Bay to Bay Properties LLC is the contractor for the two buildings and a dumpster enclosures on 1.5 acres at a cost of $1.78 million.
Permits show Brooklyn Place will comprise a 4,408-square-foot building at 10 Riverside Ave. and a 7,043-square-foot structure at 50 Riverside Ave.
The Ferber Co., which is developing the site, said in June construction would be completed for tenant openings by summer 2020.
Brooklyn Place will be developed next to Brooklyn Station on Riverside, which features Burrito Gallery, Zoes Kitchen, First Watch and The Fresh Market.
In addition to Panera, Chipotle and Bento, Brooklyn Place has space for a 1,520-square-foot retailer.
The tenants will have entries along Riverside Avenue as well as from the back parking lot.
Ponte Vedra Beach-based Ferber said previously about 190,000 people live within 5 miles of Brooklyn Place and 189,000 daytime workers are within a mile.
