Young Lawyers Section co-ed basketball league

The season is eight weeks with games on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. The fee for a team is $500. Individual players may register for $50 and will be assigned to a team as a free agent.

The league is open to all JBA members and their spouses, children (23 and older) and firm employees, and enrolled law students (or those who just took the Bar exam). Licensed attorneys must be JBA members to participate in the league.

Young Lawyers Section Chili Cook-Off

10 a.m., Riverside Arts Market

The Young Lawyers Section is bringing chili, charity and community together Feb. 16 at Riverside Arts Market under the Fuller Warren Bridge. Proceeds will benefit Best Buddies, so come out to vote for your favorite chili and support a great cause. Register at jaxbar.org

Young Lawyers Section Poker Tournament: “Cashing in for a Cause”

5:30 p.m., bestbet Jacksonville

The JBA Young Lawyers Section presents the “Cashing in for a Cause” poker tournament at bestbet Jacksonville. Lessons will be available at 5:30 and spectator tickets are available. Proceeds benefit The Tom Coughlin Jay Fund, which helps families tackle childhood cancer by providing comprehensive financial, emotional, and practical support. Register at jaxbar.org
